Through our consulting and training services we provide Inspiration, education, motivation and innovation to business leaders and managers. Our accountancy services provide a firm foundation for business analysis and planning although clients can retain their existing accountants while using us for consulting and training. This blend of services specifically aimed at the business owner and is unique.
Accountancy
We can prepare year end accounts for our business clients. We sometimes prepare year end accounting files for review by independent auditors. If a your business has good systems for financial reporting then the your year-end is no different from a month-end. We work with you to improve your systems to enhance the quality of your monthly financial reporting so that the year-end accounts offer no surprises and are relatively simple to prepare.
We agree a timetable with you of when the year-end accounts are to be prepared and discussed with you. We also prepare your detailed tax calculations and deal with authorities on our your behalf. We use your year-end accounts to update our business planning tools so that when we meet to discuss the your accounts we can look forward rather than just back. In this way we leverage the accounts data to help you plan the your future.
We can prepare your tax returns although these should not provide any surprises as we routinely plan and forecast your tax liabilities.
Consulting
The obk consulting services are designed to meet the needs of business owners who are serious about their business. If you are a business owner and you are serious about your business obk can help you:

We undertake projects for obk clients and for clients who wish to retain their accountants in a more traditional role. All projects are individually assessed and scoped and then agreed through a fixed price agreement. We also provide an outsourced finance director role.
Training
We are a learning and teaching organisation. We run numerous training courses all directed to helping business owners and their managers run better businesses. These courses are for clients and non clients of O’Byrne and Kennedy.
